But Delhi High Court and Supreme Court confirmed Section 166B of the CPC 1973 must be met, namely that the post-mortem investigation in India would form part of the ongoing investigation in the UK.  The UK Police Serious Crime Command finally undertook to re-open the criminal investigation once they receive the results.  Section 166B is thus met.  There is no bar to the post-mortem investigation being conducted in India and the results passed on to the UK Police.
